Little Rock Southwest High School opened in August of 2020. The 357,000 square-foot academic building houses 3 floors and 65 classrooms, all of which are above the 900 square-foot state minimum.
The first floor houses the main offices and a bank, which Southwest students run in partnership with First National Bank. A two-story library overlooks the 1,000 seat cafeteria, where students have multiple dining options.
The school also features a 1,200 seat performing arts center, dance studio, and black box theater.
